On a sign at the entrance to the "Paoli Chapel / Library", now located at the Paoli Presbyterian Church at Waynesborough and South Valley roads, is a brief history of the building.

The almost 100-year old building was originally situated on the west side of Darby Road in Paoli, about 100 yards south of the Lancaster Pike.
