The Generals' Quarters Revisited - A Photographic Tour by Mike Bertram In 1937 the Tredyffrin Easttown History Club took a tour of 23 encampment period General's Quarters. The presentation at the Society's February meeting recreated this tour using photographs dating from around 1900 that are in the Society's Archives. The problems of retracing the route today together with the controversies of the location of some of the Quarters was discussed. |
