Michael Shaw's book is a comprehensive history of the King of Prussia Mall from its earliest days as an outdoor strip mall to its present day status as an internationally renowned shopping center.  In his presentation, Michael discussed the book, and also included a brief history of Upper Merion Township and the building of the highways in the early 1950s that led to the development of the mall.

Michael Shaw is originally from New York State and moved down to southeastern Pennsylvania in 1992, making King of Prussia his home in 1994. He graduated from Ithaca College as a history major, and is married, with five cats. His website is www.thekingofprussiamall.com.
